- 1 (10-ounce) can diced tomatoes with green chilies, well-drained
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ packet ranch seasoning mix
Optional Add-ins
- ½ cup chopped green onions (optional)
- ½ cup chopped cooked turkey bacon (optional)
Additional
- Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions
- Soften the cream cheese: Leave the cream cheese at room temperature for 20–30 minutes to ensure it is soft and easy to mix.
- Drain the tomatoes: Place the diced tomatoes with green chilies in a strainer and let them drain for at least 5 minutes to remove excess liquid and avoid a watery dip.
- Blend base ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream, stirring until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy.
- Add ranch seasoning: Stir in half a packet of ranch seasoning mix, adjusting amount to taste, to infuse the dip with classic ranch flavor.
- Fold in tomatoes and cheese: Gently fold the well-drained diced tomatoes and shredded cheddar cheese into the creamy mixture, ensuring even distribution.
- Incorporate optional ingredients: If desired, mix in chopped cooked turkey bacon and/or green onions to add extra texture and flavor to the dip.
- Chill before serving: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate the dip for at least 1 hour to allow flavors to meld and achieve optimal thickness before serving.
Notes
- For best results, ensure the cream cheese is properly softened to make mixing easier.
- Drain the tomatoes thoroughly to prevent the dip from becoming watery.
- You can substitute turkey bacon with regular cooked bacon or omit it for a vegetarian version.
- Adjust ranch seasoning and salt to taste depending on your preference and dietary needs.
- Serve chilled with tortilla chips, crackers, or fresh veggie sticks such as carrots and celery.
